Autumn Hollow has a fair but strict adoption program. Applicants who wish to adopt a pet from Autumn Hollow are interviewed and required to fill out an application to assess suitability for being and adopter.
Sorry, we do not adopt animals into smoking households. Animals, the same as children, have no choices. We have to do our best to ensure that they are placed in the healthiest possible settings and that includes a place free of poisonous smoke and chemicals in the air.
If approved, adoptive families are required to sign a legal and binding contract agreeing to the adoption policies of the Sanctuary. Failure to comply with these policies at any time results in the option of Autumn Hollow to seize the adopted animal. All animals adopted through Autumn Hollow remain under the protection of the Sanctuary. Animals may not be sold, given away or bred. Any animal that an adopter is unable to keep must be returned to Autumn Hollow Sanctuary for the protection of the animal.
Autumn Hollow relies solely on donations and adoption fees for the care and health of all the animals we take in here.
Adoption fees vary according to the breed and amount of care an animal has required.
Many of the animals who arrive at Autumn Hollow will remain here due to health or behavior issues. We are first and foremost a sanctuary. As a result we do not always have all kinds of animals up for adoption all of the time.
